ABOUT ANNA TERZIN
Creation is an honest disclosure and dissolution of my mind and soul. I am a person who prefers observing the environment and people around me. It never has been easy for me to unleash my inner feelings but I realized that with the process of painting it works! I can uncover my secrets, my memories, my personality which indeed cannot go without courage however art is the way to translate and show myself to people. It makes me blissful when I find out that one of my works touches someone. I love when my painting talks to people. Art was talking to me in all of my life. For me art is one of the most precious, most sensitive and most sophisticated way of communication.
I started painting in November 2020. It happened in a second, I felt I need to put down colours on paper, somehow physically give out my feelings. Music is part of my life as I am a pianist and I realized that listening to music creates delicious pictures in my mind, so listening to music became an essential part of my painting process. I started with landsapes which turned out to be abstracts, with no limitations of colours, shapes and composition. I realized these are coming from my memories, my childhood and my current feelings - enhanced by music. The process makes me feel alive without which I cannot feel complete anymore.
